A Delegation from Mozambique pays a courtesy call on MIFOTRA

On Tuesday 24th July, 2018 the Ministry of Public Service and Labour hosted a 5 member delegation from Mozambique led by Ms. Assa Guambe; Director of Labour Market Observatory System in Mozambique. The delegation came in Rwanda for a study tour. 
This Delegation was received by a MIFOTRA team of Managers led by the Acting Permanent Secretary; Ms. Comfort Mbabazi. 
Discussions of both delegations focused on various intervention of Rwanda in employment promotion and job creation especially best practice in labour market information collection and dissemination.  In an elaborate presentation MIFOTRA team highlighted various coordination framework of employment promotion and subsequent means of information collection such the labour force survey and the Labour Market Information System. 
The visiting delegation shared their experience in labour market information collection and their satisfaction of the information received. Upon their request the delegation was briefed on the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System.  
At the end of the meeting Ms. Assa Guambe on behalf of the Delegation expressed satisfaction about the reception received and commended the work done by the Rwanda Government in job creation. She reiterated their commitment to stay in touch with MIFOTRA for further cooperation and exchange.
