Azerbaijan Ambassador pays a courtesy call on Hon. Minister of Public Service and Labour

On 11th October, 2017 His Excellency Elman ABDULLAYEV, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Rwanda with residence in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, paid a courtesy call on Hon. RWANYINDO KAYIRANGWA Fanfan, Minister of Public Service and Labour.  
Discussions centered on activities of interest in in cooperation between Rwanda and Azerbaijan in various spheres.  
Minister RWANYINDO thanked Ambassador ABDULLAYEV for the good cooperation and the visit.
His Excellency  ABDULLAYEV briefed Hon. Minister RWANYINDO together with the Permanent Secretary Gaspard MUSONERA about the Azerbaijan project  aimed at making services more easily accessible to citizens using modern technology through the ASAN Service. ASAN stands for “Azerbaijan Service and Assessment Network”. The word “asan” means “easy” in Azerbaijani.   .
Hon. RWANYINDO appreciated this project and recalled that it is similar to Rwanda‘s Irembo where services are acquired online, through a public-private partnership, emphasizing that Citizens deserve to be given quality and quick services.
Hon. RWANYINDO appreciated the excellent relations existing between Azerbaijan and Rwanda which benefit mutually the two Countries in many spheres.
H.E Elman ABDULLAYEV reiterated his appreciation for the warm hospitality received in Rwanda and in the Ministry of Public Service and Labour.  
Both Hon. RWANYINDO and H.E ABDULLAYEV committed to keep working together, exploring areas of continued cooperation, in the framework of the existing excellent relations between Rwanda and Azerbaijan.
